2nd Day

we decided to go to one island only.. we couldn't do much activities because we have to save our energy for the highest mountain in malaysia on the next day... (click on the image for larger view)

from a night market... it turned to an empty space in the morning/afternoon...

while i was walking... suddenly i feel very hard to walk... and it's sticky.. yes it's chewing gum... BUT!!

i have no idea how it get onto my slipper... i mean like i was walking normally and the chewing is under my foot....i screamed and my family just busy laughing... my bro took this pic... how can a chewing gum get on my slipper!!!!!!!!!!

after cleaning the chewing gum... we bought tix from the jetty and head to Manukan island... you get to choose which island u want to go from the jetty and what water sports u want to play... 

we are on the speed boat... i was sitting in front...

i enjoyed sitting on a speed boat... it's fast.. it's windy... thanks to Marie's shades.. or else i couldn't open my eyes at all...

fishes... lots of fishes... i'm going to swim with them later

we bought bread to feed the fishes... u dont need to go snorkeling to swim with the fishes coz fishes are everywhere...but the big fishes are abit shy.. they swim away when u go near... but the small fishes which is like ikan bilis will love u! even though u got no bread.. if u stay still they will come to u... just like fish spa... but it's ticklish...

i'm surrounded by fishes...

we are going for parasailing... for all the water sports.. they will send u to somewhere else away from the island bcoz they don't wantt o pollute the island... so we started in the middle of the ocean..

we will fly from the boat itself...

we are flying in the sky... 

it's really fun at first... but after 5 mins... its abit boring.. nothing to do...

we are not supposed to get into the water but we went in twice.. first is because the boat got no more petrol... so we slowly fly down into the water... second is because of my darling brother... so again we dropped into the water...

this is my new fav water sport.. fly fish... it's really cool and need lots of energy... unless u want to fall into the water.. 

if u have two person... u can lie down between the seats... if three person then u sit like how u sit on banana boat...u hold it tightly then when the boat move..

u'll fly like this or higher... so basically it's very hard to stay on it wihout falling into the water.. but three of us just don't want to drop into the water so we used all our energy to stay on it.. 

but somehow if u're sitting at the side.. one of ur leg will have no place to put on.. and when u touch the water... the water will pull u down.. that's what happen to me.. but i still refuse to let go so the boat went on while half of my body are drag in the water.. u imagine la k? after 5 mins dragging.. the boat stopped.. and the instructor told us two can lie down at the side..

this pic is funny.. haha right after he tells us we can lie down.. immediately i lied on it... but vanessa was too tired so she lied down for a while at the side... the middle one couldnt do anything.. ahahha

going back to the boat... really had fun... hehe

u must leave the island before 5pm... so we head back to the jetty by speed boat.. i was tired after using much energy on flyfish..... wondering how i'm going to climb the tallest mountain in malaysia on the next day...

we decided to walk back to our apartment from the jetty... 15mins walking distance... FYI me and steph and vanessa actually wearing shirts and our swimming suit because we were rushing just now.. so we got lots of attention after leaving the jetty especially when we walked into the city.. lots of people keep looking at us but we don't bother anymore...

we stop by the night market (they open around 5.30pm) had some foods... i don't really like their ABC and cendol... taste abit weird for me.. but maybe that's their style...

we ate one sotong.. and one fish as welll.. the fish is only RM2.50!! one whole fish...

and some other kuih muih that i don't know how to pronounce..

my bro that is enjoying the fish....it's just normal grilled fish but it's only Rm2.50.. worth trying!!

while we are walking back to our apartment... we are able to see the sun set.. it's so beautifulll!!!!!!

while we are busy looking at the sunset.. there were actually a bunch of kids having fun in the ocean.... it's like their swimming pool there...

basically they are just jumping up and down from that board.. but they had so much fun...

first day in SABAH

yeap i spent 5 days in sabah as i mentioned in earlier post... i spent wonderful moments with my family.. we got closer and closer each day and we really spent our day with our laugher.. that's the best trip in my life..

let me tell u what happen in this 5 days.. i don't have the camera so all pics from my bro's and his gf's camera.. they are not like me.. camwhore everywhere... so less pic basically...

First day 25th March 2009 

we took air asia to Sabah... i tot i will sleep in the plane coz i didnt sleep well before that rushing my assignments... but i was too attracted to the clouds so i didn't sleep on plane.. and since i heard lots of people said the nasi lemak in Air Asia is nice so i tried it as well.. it's really not bad.. it's warm.. the rice is nice... the sambal would be nicer if it is spicier..  overall it's nice...

around 5pm we finally arrived... we head straight to the apartment (Marina Apartment) which is located in Kota Kinabalu, 1borneo...the apartment is really nice... the view is good.. it's comfortable.. got 3 rooms.... there got plates, forks and spoons, woks and other stuff there.. so u can cook there if you want...

after resting for one hour, we decided to walk around in Kota Kinabalu... KK is actually well developed... sorry for being kampung here but i tot Sabah/Sarawak not that well developed... but there got starbucks, FOs, Espirit, and quite happening at night coz they got pubs there...

our apartment is quite convenient coz behind the apartment got mamak, convenient stores... restaurant...

just 5 mins walking distance, we get to the wet market where got lots of foods!! especially seafoods... and lots of antiques where you won't get to see in  KL...

they love to barbecued the seafoods there and it's quite cheap... one big tiger prawn costed Rm20.. maybe u think it's expensive but the tiger prawn is actually bigger than my palm.. one whole fish only cost RM2.50... one big Sotong cost Rm12.... the chicken wing is nice too...

my mum and my bro's gf keep saying "it's so cheap!! look at this, if it's in kl it'l be this price!! SO CHEAPPPPPPPPPPPPP"

 prawn is bigger than sotong (the sotong is not small ok?)

 then we just walk around to look at the seafood they are selling.... got different types of fishes that we don't get to see in KL...  the people there keep saying that my bro's gf from japan and i'm from hong kong... hahaha... anyway whenever they are trying to sell their fish to me i'll just pretend i don't understand...

after that, thanks to my bro's GPS and my bro's gf, we able to walked to this place that full of seafoods!!!!!! all the seafoods in aquariums and u just point ur finger here and there... it's cheap.. so basically for a family with 4 members...with RM200 (exclude lobster and some really expensive fishes) u can eat till u vomit.. 

we ordered 7 dishes... it costed Rm400++ coz we got 6 of us and we ordered a type of seafood that look like crab but not.. don't know what's that... anyway we really had fun eating it!! it's delicious!! *drools...*

once you walked into the rest.. seafoods are all over the place....

this is the one that we ordered but we don't know what's that... it got lots of meat and taste like lobster... it's actually quite nice but abit expensive...

we walked back to our apartment after that but we stopped by in the convenience store to buy some biscuit.. instant noodle and drinks...

then we just chill in the apartment.. discussing what should we do on the next day....
