i tell you ar... after i read jiayi's blog.. i'm really upset!! i always say that i love Malaysia and this is the fact!! but somehow some "people" in Malaysia always pollute our country... ridiculous la!! how can u cancel avril lavign's concert!! how can u do that? and the most important thing is.. your reason is the most ridiculous reason in the world that i had heard!! she's sexy?? my ass la...she's singing with all her attitude and u call that sexy? u think she's pussy cat dolls? even pussy cat dolls came to malaysia b4!!! she got attitude!! her songs got attitude!! what do u mean keep malaysia clean cultural? she's very dirty meh? she got swear and curse in her songs meh? what's your problem? before you talk about other artists.. pls look at yourself la... politics in malaysia are much more complicated!! if you want to keep the clean cultural and make sure the young generation don't turn worse... pls change yourself b4 you change otherS!!!!!!! what's your problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! which part of avril makes you feel that she's not a good artist and will pollute our clean cultural? you think all the malay rock star actually very clean ar? i don't even understand a word from them! avril lavigne is such a good singer! and how can u say that young generation will become worse after her concert?? excuse me!! you know what is rock? it's a cultural as well and it's SUPER DUPER CLEAN!! CLEANER THAN ALL THE HEADLINE IN OUR LOCAL NEWSPAPER!!!! WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?? if because of this incident and no more international artists come to malaysia it's all your fault!! CULTURAL MY FOOT!!!!!!!!!! sue me la if you want.. but i really disagree with your decision and it's this week... the concert is this week!! how can u cancel last minute!! people bought tix and full of expectation.. now you just broke their heart!! that's why singapore more develop... Malaysia.. 51 yrs old dy.. still developing.. die lo... when only reach the well develop level? becoz of u all la... or else Malaysia Will be better than singapore... now even Vietnam and Thailand also better than us!! this is the time where i feel malu to be a Malaysian.. imagine la..

Malaysia scraps 'too sexy' Avril Lavigne concert

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Malaysia on Tuesday canceled a concert by Canadian rock singer Avril Lavigne, saying it may taint the Muslim-majority country's independence day celebrations after the Islamic opposition slammed her show as being "too sexy."
The Arts, Culture and Heritage Ministry said it had decided not to permit Lavigne's show because it was unsuitable to Malaysian culture and could not be held on Aug. 29, two days ahead of independence day.
"It is not timely. It's not in the good spirit of our National Day. If we go ahead with the concert, it is contrary to what we are preparing for," said Shukran Ibrahim, a senior official from the culture ministry's department that vets all foreign artists.
The decision came after the youth wing of a fundamentalist opposition party, the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, called for the show's cancellation.
"We don't want our people, our teenagers, influenced by their performance. We want clean artists, artists that are good role models," he said.
