calling media is fun!

i'm under media relations department in this project... so i have to call lots of radio stations... tv stations,.. newspapers and mgazines.. these are the few funny conversations that i would like to share with u all...

calling Epop Magazine

Me - hi i'm a student calling from Taylors college pj...*bla bla bla*
Operator - oh... who is this?
Me - Christy... can i talk to the person in charge *bla bla bla*
Operator - Christy speaking?
Me - yes.. Christy speaking here... i hope to talk to the person in charge...*bla bla*

after few seconds...

Operator - oh u are Christy also... my name is Christy too... i tot u want to talk to me..hahahaha
Me - oh... hi.. *explain about DanceQuake*
Operator - 5th April we are not free bcoz there are some other events going on... but u can send us the report and we will publish it in Epop magazine...
Me - thanks..

start to call YG magazine...mana tahu

Me - hello... i'm --
Operator - oh Christy from Taylor's College?? YG and Epop actually in the same company... and YG is not free too...
Me - thank you (abit speechless.. dunno why i called the same company and explain again..chech)

Me - *same introduction*
Guy - u are from Taylors? school of communication? which year? what major?
Me - final year of Diploma in Communication.. majored in Advertising...
Guy - oh.. that's why i dunno u... i'm your senior..
Me - oh.. really? can i have your name?
Guy - Chris...
Me - *talked about hitsFM crews*
chris - you talk to Ray k? i pass the line to him

but Ray is not in the office bcoz no one is answering the phone.. so i hang up and starts to call MixFM

Me - hi i'm christy from Taylor's ~~
Chris - hah Christy? now u change to MixFM ar? don't want HitsFM anymore?
Me - ?????
Chris - MixFM and HitsFM actually under one company (Astro) and same office... why u don't want HitsFM and change to MixFM??
Me - hahahaaaah *dunno why i can't stop laughing* bcoz haahaha Ray is not answering the phone... hahahahah
Chris - ok i'll ask Ray to call u later... don't change to LiteFM later ar... under Astro also....

although i have to call lots of people but at least some really make me smile.. hahaa... and they are nice la (majority) and i got lots of media's phone numbers... next time if i'm jobless..i think i'll call them.. haahhaa
